Historical Information
Belgian military aircraft have long used national colors as part of their identification system. In the postwar period, Belgian aircraft continued to carry black, yellow and red national markings, including tail or fin identification used alongside Belgian roundels.

Exact dimensions and placement vary by aircraft type and period, so reference photographs are recommended when modeling a specific airframe.
