Avro 504K

The Avro 504 flew reconnaissance and anti-Zeppelin patrols and was one of the first British aircraft to conduct bombing raids over Germany. However, it was soon outclassed by more advanced aircraft and relegated to training. Later in the war, some 504Ks were converted into single-seat "Comic" night fighters for home defense against German airships.
