Atago & Akizuki Class DDGs 1-2400

This 1-2400 scale waterslide deck decal set represents modern Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyers of the Atago and Akizuki classes, two complementary classes built for fleet air defense, escort, and multi-mission surface warfare.

Decal Information

The decal reproduces the visible deck and helicopter-deck markings for the Atago & Akizuki Class and is printed on a clear background so the modeler's painted deck color remains visible. The deck markings and hull numbers should be cut and positioned carefully to match the miniature.

Model Compatibility

Miniatures from other manufacturers may differ in deck dimensions, weapons placement, or superstructure footprint, so test-fit before application.

Historical Information

The Atago class is an Aegis-equipped guided-missile destroyer class developed from the Kongō design with improved command, aviation, and air-defense capability. The Akizuki class was designed as a highly capable general-purpose escort, particularly suited to protecting Aegis destroyers and other high-value units against air, surface, and subsurface threats. Together, the two classes represent a major part of the JMSDF's modern surface combatant force.
