Ansaldo SVA-10
$5.00Price
Historical Background
The Ansaldo SVA-10 was a two-seat development of the successful Italian SVA family, designed for long-range reconnaissance and other missions requiring an observer or passenger. It retained the speed and range that made the SVA series one of Italy's most capable late-war aircraft.
A specially modified SVA-10 was used during the famous 9 August 1918 flight over Vienna, carrying poet and nationalist Gabriele D'Annunzio with pilot Natale Palli.
