Akizuki Class DDG 1-2400

Akizuki Class DDG 1-2400

This 1-2400 scale waterslide deck decal represents the JMSDF Akizuki class, a modern multi-mission destroyer designed to protect task groups and high-value Aegis-equipped ships.

Decal Information
The decal reproduces the visible deck and helicopter-deck markings for the Akizuki Class and is printed on a clear background so the modeler's painted deck color remains visible. The deck markings and hull numbers should be cut and positioned carefully to match the miniature.

Model Compatibility
Miniatures from other manufacturers may differ in deck dimensions, weapons placement, or superstructure footprint, so test-fit before application.

Historical Information
Commissioned from 2012, the four-ship Akizuki class combines a large flight deck and hangar with the FCS-3A active electronically scanned array combat system. The class is optimized for local-area air defense while retaining strong anti-submarine and surface-warfare capability, making it a key escort element within JMSDF surface formations.
