This is an ErikGen design. We are an approved printer for EriKGen designs. His exquisite STLs can be purchased and self printed here: EriKGen Designs.

Please note: 1-200 & 1-144 scale prints will receive 3 fuel probes. We do not ship probes for 1-300 or 1-285 scale prints. The are just too small, thin, and break easily. I use a bristle from a brush for my models as they are much more flexible. for 1-200 scale I use a "cut to length" piece of jewelry brass/copper wire from the craft store.

The A-4E Skyhawk was a primary light-attack aircraft used extensively by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps during the Vietnam War for ground attacks and close air support. It was also operated by Israel in the War of Attrition and Yom Kippur War, by Argentina in the Falklands War, and by Kuwait in Operation Desert Storm.

Key, specific uses and users of the A-4E Skyhawk include:

  • Vietnam War (U.S. Navy/Marine Corps): Served as a primary light-attack aircraft, often operating from smaller carriers, and was responsible for significant bombing missions.
  • Israeli Air Force (IAF): Employed as a major ground-attack aircraft during the 1960s and 1970s, including the War of Attrition and Yom Kippur War.
  • Falklands War (Argentina): Argentine Air Force and Navy Skyhawks were used to attack British Royal Navy vessels.
  • Operation Desert Storm (Kuwait): Kuwaiti Air Force A-4s saw action during the liberation of Kuwait.
  • Training/Adversary Role (U.S. Navy): Used by the Blue Angels flight demonstration team and as "aggressor" aircraft in training.
  • Other Operators: Indonesia used them for counterinsurgency, while Brazil operated them into the 2020s.
