This is an ErikGen design. We are an approved printer for EriKGen designs. His exquisite STLs can be purchased and self printed here: EriKGen Designs.

Please note: 1-200 & 1-144 scale prints will receive 3 fuel probes. We do not ship probes for 1-300 or 1-285 scale prints. The are just too small, thin, and break easily. I use a bristle from a brush for my models as they are much more flexible. for 1-200 scale I use a "cut to length" piece of jewelry brass/copper wire from the craft store.

The A-4B Skyhawk was a lightweight carrier-based attack aircraft extensively used by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, notably as a primary strike aircraft during the early years of the Vietnam War. It was also operated by Argentina, which used it against the British in the 1982 Falklands War.

Key Operational Roles:

  • U.S. Navy & Marine Corps (Vietnam Era): Served as a key light attack aircraft for bombing and air support, often referred to as "Scooter" or "Tinker Toy."
  • Argentina (Falklands/Malvinas War): Argentine Air Force A-4Bs, specifically from Group 5, played a major role in attacking British vessels, sinking ships like HMS Coventry and HMS Ardent.
  • Training & Other Roles: Served as a trainer and adversary aircraft (TOPGUN) for the U.S. Navy, as well as being exported to various nations.

Other Operators:

  • Israel: Used heavily in the War of Attrition and Yom Kippur War.
  • Indonesia & Kuwait: Used in anti-insurgency and combat roles respectively.
