This 1-3000 scale waterslide decal reproduces the deck markings for the CVE Chitose version during that period of time. Customers report that most decals fit Davco ship castings fairly well. Apply over a properly prepared and gloss-coated model surface using normal waterslide-decal techniques.

 

Historical Information

Chitose was built originally as a seaplane tender and later converted into a light aircraft carrier as Japan attempted to rebuild carrier strength after the losses of 1942. She entered carrier service during the late war and operated with the Mobile Fleet in 1944.
