Decal Information

This 1-3000 scale waterslide decal reproduces the deck markings for the CV Kaga during that period of time. Customers report that most decals fit Davco ship castings fairly well. Apply over a properly prepared and gloss-coated model surface using normal waterslide-decal techniques.

 

Historical Information

Kaga was laid down by Kawasaki at Kobe as a Tosa-class battleship and was later selected for conversion into an aircraft carrier. Entering carrier service in 1929 and substantially reconstructed in the 1930s, she became a core unit of Japan's prewar and early-war carrier force.
