Decal Information

These 1-3000 scale waterslide decals reproduce the deck markings for the Casablanca-class escort carriers in the listed hull-number range during that period of time. Customers report that most decals fit Davco ship castings fairly well. Apply over a properly prepared and gloss-coated model surface using normal waterslide-decal techniques.

This sheet covers hull numbers 85 to 94 with grey flight decks.

For reference when selecting a hull-number range, Taffy 3 comprised St. Lo (CVE-63), White Plains (CVE-66), Kalinin Bay (CVE-68), Fanshaw Bay (CVE-70), Kitkun Bay (CVE-71) and Gambier Bay (CVE-73).

Historical Information

The Casablanca class formed a large group of US Navy escort carriers. These sheets divide the class into hull-number ranges; the grey-deck treatment represents the option supplied for this series.
