Historical Information

Swiss military aviation has protected the country's neutral airspace through both World Wars, the Cold War, and the modern era.

The aircraft marking derives directly from Switzerland's historic national emblem and is one of Europe's most recognizable military insignia.

These markings are suitable for fighters, interceptors, trainers, transports, and helicopters and are particularly appropriate for historical through modern Switzerland.

Strong red-and-white contrast works well at 1-300 scale.
