1-300 RAF Hurricane Squadrons 302, 213 & 238 Decals
1-300 RAF Hurricane Squadrons 302, 213 & 238
This sheet contains 12 tactical markings for each squadron, including markings for both the left and right sides of the aircraft. They are sized to our Spitfire / Hurricane 3d prints at 1-300 scale. The No. 302 Squadron markings use a slightly larger roundel than the other two squadrons.
Historical Context
No. 302 Squadron was one of the Polish fighter squadrons formed in Britain after the fall of Poland and France. Equipped with Hurricanes, it became operational during the Battle of Britain and brought experienced Polish pilots into Fighter Command's front line. Nos. 213 and 238 Squadrons were established RAF Hurricane units that also fought during the 1940 campaign, operating from southern and western fighter sectors as the Luftwaffe shifted its attacks from shipping and airfields toward London and other targets.
The sheet provides a useful mix of Polish and British squadron markings for recreating the multinational Hurricane force that defended Britain in 1940.
