These 1-300 German Luftwaffe Balkenkreuz decals reproduce the familiar black German national aircraft cross with white edging. This strong black-and-white form was widely associated with Luftwaffe aircraft during World War II and provided clear recognition against a wide range of camouflage finishes.
The Balkenkreuz originated during the closing months of World War I and was later reintroduced as the national aircraft insignia of the Luftwaffe.
