1-300 Communist China Star & Bar Aircraft Markings
This decal set represents the high-visibility national aircraft insignia associated with Communist China and the People's Liberation Army Air Force. The design combines the red PLA star with horizontal bars, creating one of the most distinctive military aircraft markings of the Cold War era.
Following the creation of the People's Republic of China in 1949, the new air force adopted insignia derived from the People's Liberation Army emblem. The red star and '8-1' symbolism became central elements of Chinese military identity and were carried on aircraft supplied by the Soviet Union as well as domestically produced designs.
