$7.00Price
The Type 1 roundel was the predecessor to the standardized "Type A" roundel. The RFC Type 1 roundel was the first standard British aircraft marking, adopted in late 1914, featuring concentric circles of Red (center), White, Blue, reversed from French markings, to clearly identify RFC aircraft, evolving from Union Flags on wings to these easily recognizable symbols, establishing the iconic red, white, and blue pattern used by the future RAF.
